Not all school students studying censorship are able to come to a Censor for a Day event, either because we're not holding the event in their city or because the event is full. The Classification Office would like as many students as possible to learn from this unique event, and so we produced a DVD for teachers to use with their students. The DVD features Bill Hastings in one of the last Censor for a Day events he ran as Chief Censor.
The 25 minute DVD uses footage from a previous Censor for a Day event, along with explanations from students and film clips to help students understand New Zealand’s film classification system. The DVD is a free resource for schools to keep and is targeted at Year 12 and 13 students.

Halo 3 is the continuation of the highly acclaimed Halo video game series. The story centers on the interstellar war between 26th century humanity, led by the United Nations Space Command, and a collection of alien races known as the Covenant. The player assumes the role of the Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier, as he wages war in defense of humanity, assisted by human Marines as well as an allied alien race called Elites.
